YouTube Copyright Disputes are Fucking Stupid

Look, I know that the copyright process on YouTube is in effect for a reason. I understand why it’s there, to protect intellectual property.

But my biggest video, Game of Pythons, has been flagged for copyright due to the French Taunter segment. You would think Monty Python’s parent company, Python (Monty) Pictures LTD., would have submitted the dispute.

Nope, it was done by a company called “Virgin Chattering Classics”. Virgin Chattering Classics has purchased the rights to the French Taunter for the sole reason to file disputes on YouTube.

I filed a counter-dispute and lost. Now I have a choice, do I file another dispute with YouTube and possibly get a copyright strike on my channel or do I let the video stay without letting anyone in the US view it.

How about I just give it here for free: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/13772480/Game%20of%20Python.mp4

One more thing: Fuck Virgin Chattering Classics
